BTOOL Version 1.3 BTOOL.DOC INTRODUCTION BTOOL (BibleTool) is a DOS-based bilingual Bible study tool written for the users who speak both English and Chinese. It contains features like Bible books display, concordance generation and user topic study in English, Chinese, or both. Up to four windows may be created for viewing different books or files. Currently BTOOL supports Chinese Union Version and English King James Version. SYSTEM REQUIREMENT Color monitor, 512K memory and about 6 Mb hard disk space are required. Chinese system supporting BIG5 encoding is optional (it is required only if you want to read Chinese). Due to frequent disk access to the working files, SMARTDRV Disk-Caching is highly recommended. This program was written and tested on a 486/33 SVGA system under DOS 5.0 and Chinese System ETEN 3.0. Please report any problem on other systems. INSTALLATION BTOOL 1.3 comes with two files or two disks containing these two files: btool1.zip btool2.zip To install, follow these steps: 1. Make sure you have about 6M hard disk space available. 2. Create a directory on your hard disk (e.g. mkdir C:\BTOOL). 3. 'unzip' btool*.zip and extract the files to the directory you created. 4. After all data are extracted, you should have these files in your directory: btool.exe BTOOL Bible study program btool.hlp BTOOL help file unv.dta Union Version Chinese Bible kjv.dta King James Version English Bible *.tpc Example topics 5.
